If you ask my family and friends for the one thing I enjoy doing the most when I’m not at work or sleeping, they’d all agree it’s watching TV. Drama, reality, documentary, romance, comedy, crime- you name it, I’ve watched it. From my cousins and I watching The Price is Right and Super Market Sweep when my grandmother babysat us as kids to binge-watching Friday Night Lights on Netflix instead of studying for my college finals, it’s always been a guilty pleasure of mine. If Lifetime movie marathons aren’t your thing and you find yourself searching for a new TV show to watch, look no further! Here’s a list of TV shows currently available on Netflix that I highly recommend:

1. Friday Night Lights

This is always my #1 recommendation! You’ll feel like a part of the team with the range of emotions you’ll experience after binge-watching all 5 seasons.

2. Grey’s Anatomy

“A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors.” –IMDB.com

One of the biggest hits to come from ABC and now-popular show creator, Shonda Rhimes. You won’t be able to control your fascination with this behind-the-scenes look at the dramatic “sexscapades” of Seattle Grace Hospital and its employees.

3. Criminal Minds

“The cases of the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), an elite group of profilers who analyze the nation’s most dangerous serial killers and individual heinous crimes in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.” –IMDB.com

Criminal Minds is the perfect combination of crime, psychological thriller, and suspense. I’ve watched this show multiple times and am still amazed at the unique plot of each episode. This one definitely keeps you at the edge of your seat.
