The Best Guacamole Recipe

Have you noticed the growing popularity of avocados lately?  They have always been delicious and popular in Mexican and Japanese cuisine but lately they seem to be popping up in every restaurant and deli across the country.

It’s no wonder that people everywhere want to take advantage of this fruit, also called the alligator pear.  The avocado is packed with many health benefits, below is a list of just a few:

  • protection from cardiovascular disease
  • weight management
  • maintaining blood sugar levels
  • reduced risk of cancer
  • healthy eyes
  • helps to build stronger bones

According to a recent study, avocado seeds are used for the treatment of diabetes, inflammatory conditions, and hypertension.

I recently ate the best Guacamole and couldn’t wait to share the recipe with our readers.

2 -avocados, peeled and and smashed

1/2- of a peeled diced cucumber

1- diced tomato

4- jalapeno slices (chopped finely)

2 tsp- of extra virgin olive oil

salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
