When I was a kid there were commercials for “Close-up” toothpaste. They used models with perfect smiles, and if I remember correctly, with the tagline: “Are you ready for your close-up?”

After three years in braces, my teeth came out perfectly straight. My dad always teased me, saying I was now ready for my close-up.
