Planet Beach welcomes new franchisees, Heather and CJ Hunt, who were awarded a franchise license in Mandeville, Louisiana!
What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Owning and operating a business together has always been a goal of ours. We both have extensive experience in operations management and felt as though the time was right.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We explored franchising because it provides the advantages of presenting an established business plan, proven marketing strategies and the support of a corporate team.
What was your initial impression of your first spa session at Planet Beach?
My first session at a Planet Beach was quite a few years ago, but what I remember most was the excellent customer service. The Spa Consultants were always more than accommodating.
How was your experience going through the Planet Beach Discovery Process?
The process with our our recruiter was very pleasant. Kayla went above and beyond and always got back to us very quickly with the answers to any questions we had. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about the organization and that alone made us feel very comfortable with her. She made the decision to move forward very easy.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the Planet Beach Executive Team?
The Orientation Day was very informative and helped us to understand what the expectations are of the franchisor and franchisee. Putting faces to names also made for a more personal experience.
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with Planet Beach?
I would recommend that they invest the time in listening to what Planet Beach has to offer. Doing so will paint a clear picture of the benefits that come along with teaming up with the franchise.

We chose Planet Beach because it is a reputable brand, offers services that enhance the health and well-being of our community, and also the additional support provided by corporate.
What excites you the most in offering Planet Beach’s automated spa services to your community?
We are most excited about opening Mandeville Planet Beach back up to our community. Health and wellness means so much to the both of us and we understand what it means to our community, not only physically but mentally as well. We are thrilled to be able to provide our customers with the opportunity to optimize their health and improve their overall quality of life.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a Planet Beach franchisee?
Our goal in our first year is to establish a knowledgeable, competitive and customer service focused team to serve as the foundation to our business.
