Planet Beach is giving back to the community with a fundraiser to benefit Annie’s Fight.

Annie Rossignol is a beautiful 7-year-old girl from Mandeville, LA. On September 4, 2012, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Annie’s Fight was set up to inform all whom are interested in helping support, donate, volunteer or raise money for Rossignol’s expenses. “We are thrilled to be able to make this donation,” said Stephen P. Smith, CEO of Planet Beach. “We hope to raise awareness of Annie’s situation and hopefully, create some momentum so that more people join the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma.”

Along with Planet Beach, many other businesses and groups are selling bracelets, as well as t-shirts and necklaces to help support Rossignol. Planet Beach Elmwood is one of the south shore businesses selling bracelets. “I wanted to bring awareness to Annie and her battle against Leukemia,” said Jodie Mateu, Planet Beach Elmwood franchisee. “I pray for a cure that will allow Annie, and so many other children like her, a chance to live a normal, healthy and happy life.”
