Michael Seid, Featured Keynote Speaker of the HOTWORX & Planet Beach Virtual Convention
ConventionAmidst the Coronavirus pandemic and the effort to follow social distancing guidelines, many companies have shifted to remote working environments and virtual conferences to bring attendees together. HOTWORX & Planet Beach Franchising will be hosting their virtual Convention July 23-25 of 2020. The KNOWLEDGE themed Convention will feature expert panels, vendor presentations, keynote speakers, as well as the exciting at home virtual workout session and virtual instructor competition. Additionally, attendees will step into the virtual expo hall and access vendor videos, presentations and marketing collateral and interact with vendors virtually at their designated booths. All of this through a robust virtual hosting platform that will allow for attendees to join together from across the globe to partake in the company’s number one training and networking event of the year.

Michael Seid
Michael Seid is the founder and Managing Director of MSA Worldwide (“MSA”) a global franchise advisory firm. During his career he has been a senior operations officer, financial executive, consultant or accountant for companies within the franchise, retail, restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, education and service industries. Michael is also on the faculty of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business where he teaches a graduate school course on commercial and social franchising.
A frequent speaker and author, Michael wrote, with Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s International, Franchising for Dummies and his most recent book Franchise Management was co-authored by Joyce Mazero, a well-known franchise lawyer in Dallas, Texas. Michael has served on the board and executive committee of the International Franchise Association and was the chairperson for the IFA’s professional’s organization, the Supplier Forum.
Michael is also a social franchisor and is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of CFWshops and One-Family Health, social franchisor established to provide clinical services and essential medicines in the peri-urban areas of Sub Saharan Africa. To date CFWshops and One Family Health have served over 6,000,000 patients through a franchised network of over 170 independently owned clinics. He is chairman emeritus of the IFA’s social sector franchising task force and serves as a board member of The Ohio State Universities Global Water Initiative.
