What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
My wife worked her way up the ladder within another local Planet Beach location to later become the owner. I saw this spa for sale in our area and knew the potential it had! It was our chance to obtain another Planet Beach location, and being multi unit Franchisees was always our plan!

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
A known and recognized name in the community. So much time and money saved for a low royalty rate that would cost us much more as independent business owners. More bang for our buck!

What was your initial impression of your first spa session at Planet Beach?
My favorite service was the HOTWORX. I’m very ADHD, so I can’t sit still very long haha! I honestly didn’t think I’d like it. I thought it would be comparative to a long, slow hot yoga type class that would have me bored to death in the first 5 minutes, but man was I wrong! I did Hot Bands, and it kicked my butt! I later tried the Hot Cycle, and now I’m hooked on the 15 min HIIT sessions!

What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with Planet Beach?
Do your research, follow the process, and go for it!
