The Secret Sauce!
WellnessThere is nothing better than taking a vacation or more so, the process of planning and preparing for one. I always say that the secret sauce to life is to always have something to look forward to. That explains my passion for event planning and organizing memorable experiences that create lasting memories. I love not only planning for myself, but also planning for others and living vicariously through their amazing adventures. Although I embrace the familiarity of my daily routine, the true magic occurs when traveling to unfamiliar places and sharing a new experience that steals a piece of my heart and always stays with me.
When personally preparing for a special event or vacation, I always want to look and feel my very best. I believe that the way that you feel is revealed in the way that you look. If you feel sluggish and dehydrated, it will show. Alternatively, if you feel energetic and vibrant, it also shows. Through goal setting, proper hydration, exercising and visiting your local Planet Beach, you can accomplish your beauty and wellness goals and celebrate your vacation with confidence.
Goal Setting
To achieve the desired result, you need to establish realistic goals that keep you focused and motivated. Instead of setting the bar too high such as losing 20 pounds by a specific date, make the necessary daily dietary changes that will eventually become habitual. For example, try giving up soft drinks with every meal and replace it with sparkling water or instead of eating your typical breakfast, give intermittent fasting a try.
Hydration
To properly flush toxins from the body and prevent dehydration, it’s recommended that you follow the 8×8 rule, which it so consume eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day. In addition to cleaning your body of waste, adequate water consumption will boost your metabolism and help to suppress your appetite.
Exercising
A consistent exercise regime has been shown to reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol and alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. It delivers oxygen to muscles and helps the cardiovascular system work more efficiently. In addition to these amazing health benefits, exercise can help tone the body and maintain weight loss. Incorporate 30 minutes of physical activity daily to achieve results. Most importantly, make sure your calorie intake doesn’t exceed your calorie burn.
