Any workout buff has had more than one experience with injury and inflammation. Most of the time, for me, when I experience inflammation it is due to tendonitis from either weight training or plyometrics (jump training). I use the Hot Box Detox (HBX) isometric routine to “polish off” my workouts and as a supplemental workout, but I use it to heal my body as well. The cool thing is that I can actually heal aches and pains WHILE I get a great isometric workout with the HBX.
The deep penetration of infrared heat waves will greatly enhance injury recovery and the isometrics will allow you to workout around the injury. It’s no secret that infrared heat is commonly used for rehab purposes. It is also important to note that the stretching and straightening practiced during the 14 posture HBX sequence helps to build strength in the areas that may be affected by inflammation due to injury.

I have yet another holiday party to attend this week, this time with people I haven’t seen in years, including an old flame. All of which makes me want to look my best.

Last night I had a dream that I was on a beach in a bikini. Unfortunately, it was only a dream. Fortunately, I can still look like I’ve been to the beach, even though the reality is quite different. We have a rule at my house. No decorating for the Christmas holiday until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My girls usually try and talk me into doing it a little earlier, but I like to wait so that we aren’t over it by Christmas morning. I do enjoy keeping everything up and decorated through New Years.

You may not be a Puerto Rican Bronzed Beauty, but you can look like one!
Did you see Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo) at the Golden Globe Awards? She rocked it! Her dress was not only stunning, but her skin was bronze, flawless and glowing, which definitely made her the “Belle of the Ball.” Unfortunately, not all of us were blessed with the Puerto Rican skin tone that looks like a permanent golden tan all year long.
Although I have a bit of an olive complexion, French and Irish are both part of my family heritage, therefore my skin is rather fair in the Winter months. In order to keep the sun-kissed look all year long, I make an effort to get a Sunless Spray Tan at least twice per month. The application gives me an instant glow and is especially convenient when preparing for special occasions.
