Planet Beach, the leader in automated spa services, is proud to announce that the Federative Republic of Brazil will be joining us in our mission to change the way the world rejuvenates.

Joseph Mann, a business professional from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Fabio Messer, a former founding partner at M10 Investments will be leading what is now Planet Beach’s 10th international expansion.

“I recently travelled to the US where I had a wonderful experience with the Aqua-Massage. As soon as I came back to Rio de Janeiro, I started searching for more information about the equipment. That’s when I came across Planet Beach,” explained Joseph.

“We travelled to the corporate offices in New Orleans to learn more and were really sold by the fact that Planet Beach had automated services and an efficient business model,” Fabio continued. “The company climate, its organization and culture just confirmed the good impressions we already had.”
The spread of a healthier way of life among Brazilians is driving growth to the spa industry, especially in large urban areas. The constant growth in health problems such as stress and mental fatigue leads Brazilian people to seek daily spas more intensively.

“The spa industry in Brazil is one of the segments with greatest growth in the past few years. However, the concept of automated spa is very unique and not common. We expect to receive a lot of interest,” said Joseph. Planet Beach has proven to be a smart business investment for our franchisees, as we are offering customers what they want—a new, convenient, affordable way to improve beauty, skincare and wellness.

“We congratulate Joseph and Fabio on their commitment to launching Planet Beach in Brazil,” Planet Beach’s President of Operations, David Mesa, commented. “The synergy between Planet Beach, Joseph and Fabio is sound. We fully entrust them to represent our brand.”

Joseph and Fabio plan to start the development process in the upcoming year. Brazil can expect to start utilizing Planet Beach automated spa services as early as August of 2015.
