It is that time of year again! THE MOST UNIQUE, EXCITING COVER MODEL SEARCH is once again being re-launched to find 5 lucky ladies that will represent Planet Beach in 2014! The Planet Beach® International Cover Model Program is an annual search that provides unique opportunities for women (ages 18 to 40 years of age) exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for personal self-improvement and an interest in the beauty and wellness industry.
2013 Cover Model Winner, LauRen
An extensive global search will be organized through local and online casting calls in order to find and select forty models to be invited to the Grand Majestic Hotel & Resort in Punta Cana, in mid-October 2013 (www.majestic-resorts.com) and from there five will be selected to represent the Planet Beach brand in its annual advertising and social media program for the upcoming year. The models will participate in a fabulous TV show and photo shoot campaign that will be launched in January 2014.
Of these five models that will be selected, each will represent a specific campaign to showcase our products and services. Promotional materials will becreated for each campaign featuring our Cover Models throughout the world!
Last years winner, LauRen, truly represents the Planet Beach lifestyle.

The Planet Beach Cover Model Search is underway. With the on-line voting portal, Planet Beach makes it easy to submit videos explaining why they have what it takes to represent Planet Beach in the 2014 campaign. There are also cover model searches held nationwide leading up to the finals in October. Make sure you check our Cover Model Site regularly for event and information updates!
April 15th is right around the corner and lets face it, Tax Day can cause a lot of stress for people. Getting your finances in line can put your body under a lot of stress and cause a lot of tension. (all of those boxes!).
No need to fear, it is time to lay down, literally, and relax! It is all going to be over on Monday! Once again, Planet Beach is pairing up with HydroMassage for Tax Week!
Tax Week starts on Monday, April 15 and will go through April 19. Planet Beach will be offering FREE* HydroMassages all week long so kick back, relax and put those numbers to rest!
Checkout some other tips for reducing stress during Tax Season!
Deep breathing. When we are experiencing stress we often take many shallow breaths, causing further physical stress to the body. Breathing deeply and slowly promotes relaxation of the body and mind.
Organization. Keep all of your financial documents in one place, so that when you do your taxes you will not have to sort through other files or a stack of mail.
Don’t let long hours be your excuse to eat poorly – sugary snacks can leave you feeling drained of energy. A balanced diet with healthy snacks will help keep you energized. (poor diet can contribute to stress!)
Take frequent, timed breaks. Set your smart phone alarm to help you keep conversations to a minimum so you can stay on track (for fun, check out the Planet Beach mobile app).
Laugh…read a favorite comic, keep a joke book handy, or (if permitted) watch a short clip from a favorite comedy. Laughter helps put things in perspective.

The marketing department at Planet Beach Franchise Corporation recently took a field trip to check out one or our newly re-designed spa locations in Covington, Louisiana. To say we were blown away is an understatement. The moment we walked through the door we could tell the entire energy of the spa was changed. Planet Beaches signature purple and silver was tastefully intertwined through out the entire décor and modern black chandeliers lined the hallway.
Covington Spa Director, Paige, gave us a grand tour and shared how the redesign has had a positive affect on her location.
“ Since Covington has implemented the new design we have heard nothing but positive feedback from all of our members, customers and even employees. Since the change, most of our UV members have upgraded to contempo spa and passport members and we couldn’t be happier.”
